Lepidolite is from the mica group of minerals. It is a pink to purple silicate. From the Greek word, lepidos, meaning scale which alludes to the scaly appearance usually common to the mineral. Contains lithium, once used to calm the mind. Balances heart with mind. Also known as a stability stone.
